About AAVA Pilates
At AAVA Pilates, we believe in creating space — both in the body and in life. Our name, AAVA, means “open horizon” in Finnish, reflecting our values of clarity, calm, and connection with nature.
We want to make Pilates accessible to everyone, no matter where you live or what level you’re at. Our approach combines professional instruction with peaceful surroundings — both in-studio and online. Whether you’re on a forest trail or in your living room, movement can be meaningful.

We are a group of passionate instructors who love movement, nature, and helping people feel better in their bodies. Each of us brings a different strength to AAVA, but we all share the same goal: to guide you gently and professionally toward strength, balance, and ease.
Ella – Founder & Lead Instructor
Ella is a certified Pilates teacher with a deep love for slow, mindful movement. She started AAVA to combine her passion for wellness and Finnish nature.
Maija – Studio Class Coordinator
Sanni leads our in-studio sessions and specializes in beginners. Her calm presence helps students feel welcome and confident from the first class.
Hanna – Strength & Flow Specialist
Hanna brings energy and expertise to our dynamic classes. With a background in physiotherapy, she focuses on safe movement and core control.
